historicdrive, that's Andreas Juchem, born in Cologne and a car enthusiast, even before he was allowed to hold his first soft grey paper driving licence in his hands, trembling with excitement.
In addition to technology and car brands, his interest has always been in classic vehicles and cars. But also the cars of his youth, which belong to the youngtimers these days, inspire him again and again. And as a native of Cologne, it was natural for him to visit the Nürburgring regularly or to do a few fast laps on Michael Schumacher's racing cart track in Kerpen from time to time.
Many years ago he started to organize classic car events like the Fastelovends-Classics or the "Tournament of the West", to discover new tracks and, above all, to make contacts in different business areas, where exactly those ladies and gentlemen were sitting, who have petrol in their blood too.
Andreas Juchem is convinced: "The relaxed driving through the Bergische Land or the Eifel region combines old, proven technology with a particularly intensive experience of nature and its surroundings in a charming way, because it is also about the feeling of deceleration.
Only the slow driving sharpens the senses and awakens the same feeling in one, which also the old pioneers of the automobile history must have felt.
Nowadays, trips by vintage car as team-building events are just as effective and exciting as, for example, company event incentives or private occasions. Even if you don't own your own vehicle, you can enjoy a rental vehicle through historicdrive and take part in rallies, often combined with small special tests.
